Alexandra’s Project (2003)

In possession of a flourishing career, delightful offspring, an exquisite abode, and a devoted spouse, Steve seemingly has it all. Yet, upon arriving at his residence on his special day, he discovers a deserted and dimly-lit home, with most light bulbs mysteriously absent. The exits are blocked off, and a mysterious videotape beckons his attention. As he presses play, he is confronted with a peculiar and tormenting recording in which his wife articulates her discontent, elucidates her decision to vanish with their children, and exacts a form of retribution for the perceived mistreatment he had inflicted upon her. This unforeseen turn of events promises to leave an indelible mark on Steve's memory.
