Belgian Rhapsody (2014)

The Flemish music ensemble Sint-Cecilia from Staaikerke and the Walloon musical group En Avant are both chosen to participate in the prestigious European final event. En Avant, represented by the talented trumpeter Hugues, delivers a breathtaking solo performance that pushes Willy of Sint-Cecilia to his limits, hitting the highest and lowest notes before tragically collapsing on stage. Despite this unexpected turn of events, both ensembles secure a spot in the final competition. However, the absence of their star player leaves Sint-Cecilia at a loss. Elke, the daughter of conductor Jozef, proposes a solution: a transfer. While player transfers are common in sports, navigating one in the world of music proves to be a challenging task. The arrival of the young and charming Hugues stirs up a whirlwind of emotions in the typically serene village of Staaikerke, intensifying the rivalry between En Avant and Sint-Cecilia.
