Basic (2003)

In the wake of a devastating hurricane striking a military base near the Panama Canal, a specialized group of US Army Rangers find themselves in disarray during a routine jungle training mission. Following the chaos, only two recruits survive the ordeal, each providing conflicting stories about the disappearance of their esteemed leader, the infamous Drill Sergeant Nathan West, and the missing members of their unit. Tasked with unraveling the truth behind the harrowing events, Tom Hardy, a former Army Ranger now working as a daring DEA agent, is called upon to shed light on the mysterious circumstances of the mission gone wrong.
