Blow (2001)

In the 1950s, young George Jung grows up in a household plagued by financial struggles. His mother constantly criticizes his father's unsuccessful attempts to provide for the family. When George's father's inability to support them leads to bankruptcy, George is determined not to face the same fate. In the 1960s, his friend Tuna introduces him to the world of marijuana dealing as a way to make a living. George quickly becomes a major player in the California drug scene, but his success is short-lived as he lands in jail and discovers the lucrative potential of cocaine. Upon his release, George capitalizes on the cocaine trade, amassing wealth by bringing the drug into America. However, his newfound fortune comes at a steep cost.
