Story :

In the midst of the Cold War era, the Soviet Union seizes American aviator Francis Gary Powers following the downing of his U-2 reconnaissance aircraft. Facing a decade behind bars, Powers' sole prospect lies in the hands of New York attorney James Donovan, enlisted by a CIA agent to broker his freedom. Embarking on a journey to Berlin, Donovan aims to secure the release of the young pilot through a swap of prisoners. The plan hinges on the exchange of Powers for Rudolf Abel, the spy previously represented by Donovan in court, should all unfold according to plan.
