Story :

As the sun shines brightly, Greg Heffley eagerly anticipates lazy days filled with video games and laughter with his buddies. Yet, his father has a different agenda for the summer: he's determined to strengthen their father-son relationship. In a frantic attempt to dodge his dad's efforts to shake up their vacation, Greg concocts a tall tale about securing a prestigious position at an upscale club. Little does he know, his scheme will spiral out of control, leading to a series of humiliating blunders and a disastrous camping excursion.
