Laggies (2014)

In the midst of a quarterlife crisis, Megan, a 28-year-old who is highly educated yet struggles to find suitable employment, finds herself at a crossroads. Lacking clear career prospects and feeling disconnected from her peers who are embracing adulthood, Megan is content to linger in the shadows as her friends embrace their newfound responsibilities. When faced with a marriage proposal from her long-time partner, Megan is overcome with anxiety. Seizing a sudden chance to break away, she seeks refuge in the company of her new acquaintance, 16-year-old Annika, and Annika's experienced single father, Craig.
