Shooter (2007)

Once a distinguished Marine sharpshooter, Bob Lee Swagger retreats from military life following a disastrous mission and vanishes into seclusion. However, he is persuaded to return to duty by a prominent government figure who seeks his assistance in foiling an assassination scheme targeting the President of the United States. Betrayed and falsely accused of the crime, Swagger becomes the subject of a widespread pursuit. Determined to uncover the true perpetrator and unravel the mystery behind his betrayal, he embarks on a journey of vengeance against influential and deceitful figures in positions of authority.
