Story :

When Stingo, an aspiring writer, relocates to Brooklyn in 1947 to embark on his debut novel, he forms a bond with Sophie and her partner, Nathan. Through their interactions, he discovers Sophie's past as a survivor of the Holocaust. Through flashbacks, her tumultuous journey unfolds, from a time of prosperity before the war to the horrors of Auschwitz. Meanwhile, in the present, the dynamics between Sophie and Nathan begin to crumble as Stingo forges a deeper connection with Sophie and witnesses Nathan's increasingly fragile state of mind.
