Assisted by the most recent addition to their high school faculty, a group of four Hispanic students bands together to establish a robotics club. Despite lacking any prior knowledge in the field, the youngsters aspire to conquer a prestigious national robotics competition. Armed with only $800 and salvaged components from discarded vehicles, they embark on the ambitious task of constructing a robot to face off against the formidable reigning titans from MIT. Throughout their journey, the students acquire not just technical skills in robot-building but also a deeper, enduring understanding of the power of forming lasting connections with one another.
