The Darkness (2021)

A couple named Lisa and David, hailing from London with occupations as a writer and an entrepreneur, embark on a journey to Ballyvadlea, Ireland for a productive holiday. Their brief excursion was carefully arranged to allow Lisa to delve into her second literary creation while David focuses on developing his entrepreneurial venture. Little did they know that the dwelling they chose stood on a site plagued by a dark curse. Lisa's insatiable curiosity leads her to stumble upon the private writings of Niav, an enigmatic woman who resided on the property a century ago, inadvertently unlocking hidden secrets and stirring malevolent forces. Meanwhile, David's last hope materializes in the enigmatic figure of George, a wandering priest with a compelling tale to share. The intricate storyline unfolds across various time periods: 1918, 1950, and 2010.
