The Lazarus Effect (2015)

In the realm of medical exploration, Frank, a dedicated researcher, along with his beloved partner Zoe and their devoted team, have accomplished the unimaginable: discovering a method to bring back the deceased. Following a daring and unauthorized trial on an inanimate creature, they prepare to unveil their groundbreaking achievement to the world. Yet, their ambitions are abruptly halted when their academic superior discovers their actions and puts an end to their endeavors. Tragedy strikes as Zoe loses her life while endeavoring to replicate the experiment, prompting Frank to take a bold step and apply the process to her.
