Ted is a man of accomplishment with a strong moral compass, leading the charge in the research and development division of Veridian Technologies, a company known for its questionable ethics. Nothing is beyond reach and no idea is too unconventional for this innovative corporation. Ted revels in his seemingly flawless role, cherishing his exceptional boss, Veronica, as well as his comrades Lem, Phil, and Linda. However, as the company's highly dubious actions come to light - like their attempt to freeze one of Ted's team members for experimentation - Ted finds himself reevaluating his allegiance.
