In the era of disco and bell-bottoms, Dan Stark and Frank Savage were the dynamic duo of Dallas law enforcement, hailed as national heroes for rescuing the Governor's son. Fast forward three decades, and Dan Stark is a shadow of his former self, drowning his sorrows in alcohol and reminiscing about his glory days. Enter Jack Bailey, the fresh-faced cop with a penchant for sticking to the rules but occasionally letting his snarky side slip out. Despite his talents, Jack finds himself relegated to mundane theft cases and saddled with the unenviable task of keeping Dan in line, a notorious drunk who drives away partners faster than you can say "unsolved case."
